President : Pavlos D. Giannakopoulos



He was born in 1929, and is the owner of VIANEX S.A. and chairman of the PANATHINAIKOS BSA. He has been the chairman of all Panathinaikos’ amateur departments since 1987. In 1992, when the basketball department became professional – with the creation of HEBA at the same time – the Giannakopoulos family took over the reins and led it to numerous great successes, by bringing to the team - and Greece in general – a multitude of big basketball star players. During his chairmanship, Panathinaikos has won 13 Greek Championships, 8 Greek Cups, 1 Intercontinental Cup and, of course, 6 European Championships, making all Panathinaikos’ fans proud of their team.

Thanasis Giannakopoulos



Born in 1931 he is the owner of VIANEX S.A. He has been actively involved in Panathinaikos since 1987. He took over the chairmanship of the Panathinaikos’ amateur departments from 1999 to 2009, while he has also been a consultant to the HFF (Hellenic Football Federation). He is actively involved in the basketball department and always stands by the team. He too has celebrated the 13 Greek Championships, 8 Greek Cups, 1 Intercontinental Cup and the 6 European Championships that Panathinaikos has conquered while the Giannakopoulos’ family stands behind its helm.

Born on July 7, 1945 in Athens, he has been with the club since 1957, having gone through various posts in the club (player, coach, team manager). He took on office in his current position in 1995.

Financial Manager: George Mireas



Born on the 16/08/57 he has been with PAO since 1983, holding the post of financial manager. 
 

Accounting Director:Fotis Lambrou



 Born on the 28/11/1952 in Serres, he has been with Panathinaikos since September 1998 and is the head of the accounting department.

Marketing Director:Ilias Katsogiannis 

 Born on August 10, 1979 in Athens, he has been with Panathinaikos since 2007 and is the B.S.A. Marketing Director. Among others, he has also been an executive in the Athens 2004 Olympic Games and the  Torino 2006 Winter Olympics
