Panathinaikos BSA participate again in Euroleague’s CSR program «One Team» in a special way, as selected in the Juvenile Detention at Corinthos for its implementation.

George Diamantakos, the first “ambassador” of the program, visited Corinthos, played basketball with the inmates (aged 15-18) and mostly inspired all for cooperation and teamwork. Young guys participated willingly in the program and renewed the appointment with the team next week.

“This program is very important and I think that Panathinaikos made the ideal choice,” said George Diamantakos. “My wish is to learn in the next few years that these guys are active citizens in society and particularly I will be glad to see them in OAKA. Our aim must be to stand by our people and to pass messages for cooperation, teamwork and equality. For me it was a special experience and I am glad that I took part in such an important social responsibility program that reveals the importance of assistance to fellow man. “

The young inmates had their first acquaintance with the program. Panathinaikos will participate with 7 players in eight weeks that will last.

Through its own program «Basketball is everywhere», the Panathinaikos rewards social sensitivity, the value of cooperation and passes multifaceted social messages.
