Despite the repeated provocative actions by our opponents—most notably the disgraceful gestures made on multiple occasions by Evan Fournier—Panathinaikos fans showed the necessary restraint.

Even those in the front rows, who were the direct recipients of the athlete’s repugnant behavior and his clear attempt to cause an interruption of the game, fortunately did not follow him down the path he chose to take.

The fans who filled OAKA for the third game of the finals once again confirmed, through their overall conduct, what is widely acknowledged: they have created the best home court in Europe, fostering an atmosphere that always upholds the spirit of fair play.
