Serelis: “We must keep our heads down and work”

Christos Serelis, assistant coach to Ergin Ataman at Panathinaikos BC AKTOR, spoke at the Press Conference following the away game against Aris Betsson:

“It is a black week for Greece due to the tragic events that have taken place. Our condolences go out to all the families of the victims. It is also a dark anniversary for Aris and for sports as a whole (referring to the unjust loss of Alkis). We must teach our children to love all teams and ensure that there are no criminal acts.

As for the game, we were not focused in the second half and we allowed Aris to believe and eventually win. The lack of concentration was evident in the many missed free throws; we had a very poor percentage, which is very unusual for us. We need to keep our heads down. We have a difficult schedule ahead of us, nothing has been decided yet, and we must fight.”
