Juancho Hernangomez spoke to CLUB 1908’s Game Talk ahead of Panathinaikos BC AKTOR’s upcoming clash with Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv.

Juancho, a big win in Turkey and you were one of the main reasons the team returned with the victory. How did the game feel to you?
“It felt good. It was an important win there. It was a really tough environment and a tough team, but now we’re focused on tomorrow’s game”.

You are always ready to step up for the team, as you showed once again.
“Every player is ready to step up for the team and try to get the wins. That’s our job”.

What are the keys to the upcoming game?
“It’s going to be a tough game, with a lot of talent. They have many big names and they’ve been playing very well. They’re first in the EuroLeague, so it’s going to be a great matchup for us”.

Another home game, another sold out. Are you ready for the Telekom Center Athens experience?
“Yes, of course. We need our fans, we need the atmosphere. We really need them to get this win”.
