Panathinaikos OPAP – Real Madrid 87 - 86

Panathinaikos pulled off a late-season upset when it knocked off Real Madrid 87-86 at home to snap a 13-game losing streak to the Spanish side.

Panathinaikos fended off every Real comeback attempt to win its first game over Los Blancos since Game 1 of the 2018 playoffs. Panathinaikos has won two of its last three games to improve to 8-18. Georgios Papagiannis collected 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks to lead the way.

Real’s late-season slump continued with its seventh loss in the last nine games for an 18-9 record. Thomas Heurtel had 18 points in the loss.
