Omer Yurtseven spoke to CLUB 1908’s “Game Talk” ahead of Panathinaikos BC AKTOR’s upcoming matchup against Valencia Basket.

Omer, we’re happy to have you back. How do you feel returning to our home court for the game against Valencia?

Great. I think they have excellent guards, and it’s going to be a great game to come back to. We worked hard today, and the connection with the guys is excellent again. It feels good to be playing with them once more.

How do you see your coexistence with Kenneth Faried? While you were injured, he joined the team. How do you feel about playing alongside him tomorrow?

Perfect. He’s a huge help, and thankfully he’s on our team. Congratulations to him for winning the November MVP award. It’s an important award, and achieving it in just four games is incredible.

Did you miss the atmosphere created by our fans?

My God, of course. Coming back to play at home will be amazing. We played a few games with the national team, but the crowd here will be extremely energetic tomorrow!

Yes, yes, of course. It’s been sold out for 3–4 days now, I think—maybe even a week before the game—and it’s really great to be back!
