Giannis Kouzeloglou is the newest member of Panathinaikos BC AKTOR, and speaking to paobc shortly after the completion of his transfer, he shared his initial thoughts on this new step in his career and his upcoming collaboration with coach Ergin Ataman.

In his first statements as a player for the “Greens,” the 30-year-old center said: “I was truly delighted when I learned about Panathinaikos’ interest. This is a historic club with an incredible legacy and passionate fans. It is a great honor and responsibility for me to wear the green jersey and represent Panathinaikos.”

Regarding his personal goals, he noted: “Every time I step on the court—whether it’s for practice or a game—I want to give 100% in order to help the team achieve its high ambitions. Representing such a prestigious club demands your full commitment at all times, and I am ready to give my all.”

In closing, he spoke about Ergin Ataman and his new teammates: “It will be a privilege to work with Coach Ataman, someone I’ve admired since I was young. He has accomplished great things in his career. I’m really looking forward to collaborating with him, as well as with the exceptional players on the Panathinaikos roster. I’ve faced many of them as opponents, but it’s a whole different experience to have them as teammates. I’ve heard the team atmosphere is fantastic, and I can’t wait for us all to get to work together.”
