Panathinaikos OPAP adds Siva

Panathinaikos OPAP has signed Peyton Siva (31, 1.83 meters) until the end of 2021/2022 season.

Peyton Siva is a basketball player born on October 24, 1990 in Washington, USA. He is a point guard who last played for New Zealand Breakers.

He played college basketball for Louisville, leading the school to two Final Fours including a national championship his senior season. He was drafted by the Detroit Pistons, who selected him with the 56th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft.

Siva Signed for the 2013-14 season by Detroit Pistons, also he played with Fort Wayne Mad Ants, NBDL. He moved to Erie Bay Hawks, NBDL for the 2014-15 season.

On August 12, 2015, Siva signed with Juvecaserta Basket of the Italian Serie A for the 2015–16 season and he led the League in assists, as he had 6.5 per game.

On June 22, 2016, he signed a two-year deal with Alba Berlin. For Berlin, Siva has been the starting point guard and has guided the team to two BBL championships, in 2020 and 2021. In 2018, he was named to the All-BBL First Team. He played 3 seasons in Eurocup and 2 in Euroleague. Siva averaged 9.8 points, 5.2 asists, 1.8 rebounds in 43 matches with Alba in Euroleague.
