Serelis: “Anadolu Efes made big shots tonight and took the win, we will be ready for Game 5 in Athens”
Ergin Ataman’s Assistant, Christos Serelis, stated in the press conference following the away game against Anadolu Efes: “Before I talk about the game, I want to mention that I am here because Coach Ataman is not feeling very well. He has a long history with the club and has achieved great things, and he feels that some people are not showing him the respect he deserves.
Regarding the game, we knew it would be a tough match against a very good team with talented players. In the first half, we tried to win through defense, as we did in the third game. In the second half, we didn’t have good communication, and we conceded baskets from our own tactics. Four games have been decided in the last possessions with big shots. Anadolu Efes made big shots tonight and took the win. Another tough game in Athens, and I believe we will be 100% ready to win and advance to the Final Four.”
