Panathinaikos BC AKTOR started the game leading 7–2, while in the 3rd minute the visitors tied the score at 9–9. In the 5th minute the Lithuanian side went ahead 14–11, before the Greens responded to make it 15–14 in the following minute. Zalgiris Kaunas led 19–15 in the 7th minute, Panathinaikos BC AKTOR tied the game 22–22 in the 9th minute, and the end of the first quarter found the visitors in front 27–24.

In the 32nd minute the Greens extended the lead to 68–59, and a minute later pushed the margin to +12 (71–59), with Zalgiris Kaunas reducing it to 73–67 in the 34th minute. The lead returned to double digits in the 35th minute (77–67) and became 82–68 in the 36th minute, with Panathinaikos BC AKTOR eventually securing the win with the final 92–88.
