XI. SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTARY RULES ON FORCE MAJEURE EVENTS, INCLUDING COVID-19
ARTICLE 35:
In the event that, during the 2025-2026 season, extraordinary events of force majeure occur that cannot be foreseen and as a result of which the law requires that matches be held with reduced spectator capacity or without spectators, as well as in the event that the implementation of any health protocols for the conduct of sporting events becomes mandatory due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the following shall apply:
– The purchase of a season ticket does not guarantee live attendance at our team’s home matches, as it depends on the protocols in force at the time for the conduct of sporting events and is subject to the condition precedent of any extraordinary events of force majeure.
– Admission to the stadium will be in accordance with the law and the protocols in force at the time of admission. Season ticket holders have no right to withdraw or and a refund of all or part of the season ticket price and/or compensation of any other kind in the event of the absence and/or invalidity of the documents required for entry to the stadium.
– PANATHINAIKOS BC reserves the right to transfer the holder/spectator to another seat in the same gate to comply with the health protocols in force at the time for the conduct of sporting events.
-If matches are held without the presence of fans, the season ticket holder has no right to withdraw and/or receive a refund of all or part of the season ticket price and/or compensation of any other form.
– If matches are held with limited spectator attendance, season ticket holders for each gate will be entitled to secure their seat in the same gate through the check-in process provided through the official electronic sales channels of the Basketball Club (using the software of the ticket issuing service provider collaborating with the KAO).
The available seats at each gate will be determined by the applicable protocols for sporting events and, for this reason, priority will be strictly observed.
Season ticket holders for each gate who are unable to secure their seat in the same gate for a match in time will be entitled to secure a seat in another gate for the same match through the official online sales channels of the Club (using the software of the ticket issuing service provider collaborating with the Club), on a priority basis and depending on the availability of the gate, paying the additional amount corresponding to any upgrade of their seat, in accordance with the current price list of the Panathinaikos BC for the specific match.
The option to upgrade seats will not be available for family packages, for which only the procedure described in the above paragraph will apply, i.e., securing seats only at the same gate.
Season ticket holders have no right to cancel or and a refund of all or part of the season ticket price and/or compensation of any other kind for any matches for which they are unable to secure a seat through the above system.
X. FINAL PROVISIONS
ARTICLE 36: ADDITIONAL TERMS – AMENDMENT OF TERMS
The terms printed on the back of the ticket, invitation, and season ticket application form are supplementary to this agreement and, together with this agreement, constitute the complete and exclusive agreement between the holder/spectator and the Club. PAO BC reserves the exclusive right to unilaterally amend these terms at its discretion, and any such amendment shall be binding on ticket holders/spectators. Failure by the Club to enforce any of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce some or all of them.
ARTICLE 37: INVALIDITY OF TERMS
If any of the terms herein are invalid, the remaining terms shall remain in force.
ARTICLE 38: PURCHASE THROUGH A PROXY
If the purchase of a ticket is made through a proxy, these terms and conditions shall be binding on both the principal and the proxy.
ARTICLE 39: APPLICABLE LAW
Greek law shall apply and the courts of Athens shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
