NICK CALATHES: "When I leave the NBA I will play only for Panathinaikos”

Nick Calathes visited Panathinaiko's headquarters and met the owner of the club, Mr. Dimitris Giannakopoulos.

His purpose was to assure Dimitris Giannakopoulos that when he leaves NBA he will play only for Panathinaikos.

"With great pleasure I met Nick Calathes and we discussed a lot of time," said the owner of Panathinaikos, Mr. Dimitris Giannakopoulos. "Calathes assured us that when he returns to Europe then he will play for Panathinaikos. Also we wished him good luck at the World Championships in Spain with our National team”.

Nick Calathes said:

"I'm very happy that I found myself again in the environment of Panathinaikos, and also to meet and talk with Mr. Dimitris Giannakopoulos. We have to tell the truth: Right now my goal is to play as well as possible in the NBA, but it is certain that when I return to Europe I will play only for Panathinaikos'.

Nick Calathes was gifted with a Panathinaikos jersey from Mr. Dimitris Giannakopoulos as a symbolic move for the future.
