Dimitris Priftis

He was born on October 27th, 1968. He coached at the basketball academies in ANOG, Aris Glyfadas, GS Argyroupolis. He took ever Kronos (Women Basketball), Aigaio Glyfadas (Men), Esperides (Women Basketball, 1998-2000), leading the team to A1 Division. He was assistant coach next to Theodoris Bolatoglou (Ionikos Nikaias) and Dirk Bauermann (Dafni). He was a member of the coaching staff in AEK (2003-2009). He then moved to Thessaloniki, to Aris, next to Fotis Katsikaris and David Blatt (2009-10). From 2010 to 2012 he took over EK Kavalas leading the team to the 6th place of the A1 Division Classification, the best in the team's history. In 2012-13 he coached Ikaros Kallitheas, while this season he coached Kolossos Rhodes, before shaking hands with Panathinaikos.

Since 2008 and up to 2012, he was a member of the Greek National Team of Men coaching staff next to Panagiotis Giannakis (2008 Olympic Games, 5th place), Jonas Kazlauskas (Eurobasket 2009, Bronze Medal, 2010 FIBA World Championship), Elias Zouros (Eurobasket 2011, 6th place, 2012 Olympic Games Qualification Tournament).
