Panathinaikos Superfoods at One Team - Basketball is Everywhere

The Euroleague’s CSR program “One Team” - Basketball is Everywhere, where Panathinaikos BSA participates, continues for the 4th consecutive season.

On Tuesday (27/3), the "greens" visited Special Olympics Hellas for the sixth consecutive week, represented this time by Official “One Team” Ambassador, Ian Vougioukas! The player of Panathinaikos Superfoods was found in the Indoor Sports Basketball Hall of the Athens City Goudi Sports Center, where he talked, photographed and played basketball with Special Olympics Hellas Basketball athletes who showed to enjoy this experience. Vougioukas revealed some of the secrets of basketball by participating actively in their practice.

Ian Vougioukas stated: "I'm very pleased to participate in the Basketball is Everywhere program by visiting Special Olympics Hellas. It is my honor to be the Ambassador of the program and I was delighted to accepted this proposal at the beginning of the season. I hope to participate also in the next one. Today I have seen how good work both athletes and their coaches are doing. I invite all the athletes I met here today to come at OAKA to see us. Special Olympics athletes offer generous love and enable you to share with them the joy of sports."

From his side, the Ambassador and President of Special Olympics Hellas, Dionysios Kodellas, said: "We are happy and grateful for the support provided by Panathinaikos Superfoods, embracing and basically adopting the Basketball team and beyond the One Team program. Panathinaikos Superfoods has stood with the presence of his athletes both at the European Special Olympics Basketball Week and at other events where the players of the team have played with our athletes. This is also the philosophy of the whole movement, namely the integration of people with intellectual disabilities into society through sport. I would like to express my gratitude to the Panathinaikos Superfoods administration, to the sponsors, and the assurance that this very good cooperation will continue in the future. "
