Panathinaikos BC OPAP adds Andrews

Panathinaikos is BC OPAP has signed Andrew Andrews (29, 1.88 meters) for the next 2 years. 

Andrews is a basketball player, born on May 25, 1993 in Portland, USA. He is a guard who last played for Frutti Extra Bursaspor.

He played college basketball for the University of Washington (2012-2016), where he led the Pac-12 Conference in scoring as a senior.

In December 2016, he signed with Best Balıkesir of the Turkish Super League and in 19 games he averaged 14.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game.

On October 17, 2017 Andrews came back to the U.S. and was signed to the Delaware 87ers, the Philadelphia 76ers' G League affiliate.

In November 2018, he  signed with Latvian team VEF Rīga of the VTB United League and he finished the season with the Israeli team Hapoel Afula. In 6 games played for Afula, he averaged 26.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 1.7 steals per game.

On July 20, 2019, Andrews returned to Turkey for a second stint, signing with Büyükçekmece for the 2019–20 season and he averaged 20.7 points, 4.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game.

He finished the 2019-2020 season with the Israeli team Maccabi Haifa.

On July 23, 2020, he has signed with Darüşşafaka of the Basketball Super League. Andrews averaged 16.1 points per game.

In September 2021, he signed with Turkish Frutti Extra Bursaspor. Andrews averaged 14.4 points (47.2% from 3-point range), 3.3 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in the Turkish BSL  and 14 points (39.8% three-pointers), 2.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists in the EuroCup, where he reached the finals.
