We were entirely concentrated versus Bamberg, we fully responded to the defensive part, we played smartly and did not allow them to play at their rhythm. Now the game versus CSKA Moscow lies ahead in the Top16. We will be performing at home, in front of our fans that always support us. During the next few days we will speak of this game in order to get appropriately prepared. I am proud of my players. We are a new team and up to now we have gained a title and the qualification to the European quarterfinals. Our goal is to keep the Panathinaikos banner high”.
Roko Leni Ukic added: “It was a very important victory seeing that Unicaja Malaga won. Brose Baskets was a tough team, but we played well. We forced them to their greatest defeat up to date. It is pleasing that we managed to advance. The game versus CSKA Moscow is very significant but we approach games one at a time, so the one versus Panionios comes first. There after we can check out CSKA in an encounter which alongside our fans we will fight for the win”.
